Layout Inspiration

I love when I am looking through online galleries and spot a layout where the person has used their Slice to create their layout :)

Here are a few that I have seen that are some of my favorites!

Clean & Simple Card

If you haven't stopped my the Making Memories Blog yet today,

here's a Simple Card I created using the Slice.

 

As you all pretty much know...I'm a SIMPLE Scrapper.

I like clean lines, graphic designs, and itty bitty photos. :)

Here is a very SIMPLE Cheer Up Card I made using my Making Memories Slice and The Basic Design Card.

I first printed my words out using white cardstock and folded the paper in half.

I then I cut a 4" letter S using the Basic Elements Design Card

Next, using the same card, I cut the rest of the letters for the word Smile.

I adhered them over the printed words and to finish I trimmed the top and bottom of my card.

I simple, clean Cheer Up Card. :)

MAD cool!

I saw this on pinterest the other day and thought it was the coolest thing ever!

I love the simple graphic look and the colors she uses are perfect!

so, of course I had to make one myself :)

I had this frame from when Hannah was in preschool and put her graduation photo in it.

But, I never hung it on her wall. So I thought it would be PERFECT for this!

Video Tutorial Using The Slice

A while back, Jenny made this video for the site showing you how to use the Slice and create an embossed look to your layout.

On this layout, you can see that the designer used the Slice to create a background using the Paws and Claws Design Card.

This a a very simple technique using the Slice that you can do to create a cool look to whatever project you are working on.

I recieved my Slice machine for Christmas and absoulutley LOVE it! I am currently working on Senior Baseball Memory Scrapbook pages to add to coach's Senior Scrapbook. I am using my Slice to create the writing & shapes...wish I had the All Star Card! Local stores do not have them in stock yet... Thanks for the chance to win one!

Slice Brayer Tool

One of my favorite tools to use with the Making Memories Slice is the Brayer Tool.

 

 

This tool allows me to smooth my paper and fabric on my Hands Free Mat perfectly!

I never have any tears or bumps on my material and it allows me to make the best cut possible.

It is a MUST HAVE!!

SLICE DESIGN CARD GIVEAWAY!!

Good Morning Everyone :)

Yesterday, when I was picking Hannah up from school, I saw a couple highschool girls sitting on the floor in front of the locker room door.  They had a pile of construction paper, markers and stickers laying all over the place.  Both were using scissors and stencils to create a Sport's themed display on the bulletin board out side the gym.

I thought to myself...How cool would it be to have THIS Slice design card!

Even the Font on this card is perfect for any theme they would need.

I think today I will mention to the Gym Teacher, also a SCRAPBOOKER!!, that she TOTALLY needs a SLICE and THIS CARD :)
