Is there ever a time when you want to make a layout about something that is personal to you?
Or document a converstation that you want to keep private?
Or journal an event or a time in your life that you would like to remember but not share it with everyone who looks at your scrapbooks?
Well, here's a cool way!
For this layout I used my Making Memories Just Chillin Slice Design Card.
I first printed my journaling out on plain white cardstock.
Next, I used my Making Memories Just Chillin Slice Design Card and cut a 4" Bubble out of Kraft Cardstock.
When doing this I made sure I did not cut the entire shape completely out.
I lifted (TILTED) my Slice near the top edge of the design to make sure I had a "fold."
This allows me to fold the Bubble back to be able to read my journaling.
You might want to practice this a few times on some scrap paper to get your cut exactly the way you want it :)
I then used my Making Memories Just Chillin Slice Design Card again to cut out 2 - 2 1/2" Brackets using black cardstock.
I added my stickers for the title, a little strip of patterned paper and a photo turn and brad to secure the flap.
Hope you enjoy this little tip and make sure you check Laura Vegas Blog for yesterdays cool post on cutting Fabric with your Slice!
Have a GREAT DAY!
