My name is Wendy Bretz and I currently live in a small town located in Western New York along Lake Erie. I am a full-time working mother to an adorable, energetic little girl named Hannah.
I started scrapbooking about 9 1/2 years ago when Hannah was born. She was a true gift from God and she has changed my life in so many ways that I can't even begin to describe.
My style of scrapbooking is very clean, simple and graphic. I have been published in Creative Keepsakes, Scrapbook Etc, Simple Scrapbooks and Scrapbook Trends Magazines.
I am a 2007 Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame Winner and was previously a Garden Girl at Two Peas In A Bucket.com.
I am on the creative team for Karla Dudley Designs and also a creative team member at Pixel's & Company.
Since I began scrapbooking I have met some incredible people who have guided, encouraged and taught me a lot throughout the past six years. I look forward everyday to talking with friends I have met and creating new designs for layouts my daughter can one day admire.

What separates digital scrapbookers from their paper-crafting peers? Blending — the technical art of combining separate images to create a completely new reality! Blended layouts are often complimented as inspiring, expressive and jaw-dropping because of their abstract and unique qualities. We simply do not “build” blended pages; they are born! And now, Tiffany Tillman will share how you can breathe creative life into blended pages too in the Digital Scrapbooker’s Guide to Blending, series 1 of the DigiScrap School.
Well, now that the summer is over and Hannah is back to school...today is my first day off where I have ALL day to do what ever I want!
Now, I just have to decide what that's gonna be. hahaha
I'll probably pick up a little, do some laundry but I definitely want to update this blog, work on some P&Co layouts and also keep working on ModCards Vol.2! I've had such great feeback and a great turn out for my first class that I got right into design my 2nd class. I can't wait for this one :)
But let me just start by telling you that we are having a Creative Team Call over at Scrapaneers!
Check it out:

I'm so excited to finally announce that today pre-registration opens for my class over at scrapaneers!
In this self-paced edition of ModCards, you’ll explore modern uses of typography, balance, flow, and white space while constructing 5 “anything-goes” cards that can be customized and shared over and over again. You’ll also learn how to set up your cards for printing with Persnickety Prints or sending your digital projects as e-cards. In addition, ModCards students will receive a workshop kit of digital goodies by Karla Dudley, Deena Rutter, Gennifer Bursett, Robyn Meierotto, and Karen Funk. The kit contains everything you’ll need to recreate the 5 cards I demonstrates via pre-recorded video lessons.
I am so happy to announce that I will be giving this class away to one lucky winner!
Please leave a comment below and on wednesday I will pick one winner to join me in the first edition of MODCARDS at SCRAPANEERS.COM!
So there you go…some awesome inspiration to get you started! Don’t forget that today only (ends Monday at midnight PST), you can get each of these kits for only a dollar, and one is even FREE! So go grab them, and then play along. Upload a layout using these four kits to the DHD gallery by next Sunday, then come back here and post a link to it. Not only will you learn to stretch your kits, but you could win a gift certificate to DHD!
