This is Caro. She has been with us since August of last year. My Aunt and Uncle have been her host family and we couldn't of ask for a nicer girl to join our family. She will be leaving this friday back Mexico. We will miss her so much. Hannah loves playing with her and she loved seeing her at school everyday.
Caro you are an amazing young woman and we wish you the best. We love you!!
My Baby graduated from Pre-School yesterday!
I was so excited for her :)
I think I was more nervous than her.
I was afraid that she would be scared in front of all those people and that she would run off the stage but, she did GREAT!
Actually, she was PERFECT!
She never plugged her ears, scowled, yelled or ran off stage.
She was SO GOOD!
All the kids did great. No one cried or fussed.
We got there a little early and we were able to peek into the gym to see them practicing.
This was the first time both classes, (morning and afternoon), got together to go over everythign together.
Hannah saw us peeking in and waved with a big smile on her face! :)
I was so proud!
When the curtains opened, all the kids were standing in line, Hannah was 3rd from the end.
We were right in front of her in the front row. She could see us perfect and kept waving at us.
I was the Happiest Mommy there, I just know it! ;)
They announced all the kids but saying,
"Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Hannah's in the Room Room."
It was so cute.
They then sang a bunch of songs.
My dad was smiling the whole time. They were REALLY good!
Hannah was dancing and snapping her fingers!
(She just learned how to do that!)
They did the pledge and finished the program by getting a certificate of graduation.
It was a really good program!
After that, I took Hannah to Toys R Us and out to lunch at Applebee's.
It was a REALLY GOOD DAY!!
I can't understand who would ever buy this for anyone. This is just a disaster WAITING to happen!

It's been a while now that I have been in Simple. I missed that magazine so much. They are such wonderful people to work with and the magazine is so fun to look at. I wish they went to monthly...bad! But, now that my Hall of Fame year is over, I'm excited to have been picked up for the July/August Issue. Here's my layout:
It's been awhile since Severine and I have emailed so, it was really nice to touch base with her the other day. She was one of the first girls I met through Two Peas. I was instantly drawn to her designs and creativity. We began talking through emails and have been friends for over four years! Unfortunately, we have never met but I'm sure one day we will! It's amazing the people you meet over the Internet!
We both decided to do a challenge. I picked out a sketch and this it what we came up with:

Just got home from CKC in Buffalo today. It was a lot of fun. Hung out with some awesome girls, scrapped and just relaxed. I was happy to come home though. I missed Hannah so much! I will post more later with some pics :)

Did you all check out the Mid-Month Garden? It was awesome, once again! Here are 2 pages I did for it. The first one in a Themer. All digital. I used some of my digital kits from 2peas to make this one. Those girls who make these kits are so talented it blows me away! The second is a Seasonal layout using flowers. I love those Making Memories Clears. Whoever came up with the adhesive on the back of those is a freakin genius! It took me about 2 releases to figure it out but finally after an email to Jenny she clued me in! Thanks Jenny!

Hannah had a really nice birthday this year! She had 2 birthday parties and had a blast at each one. On Saturday, we all went out for lunch at Pizza Hut and then we took her to the Children's Museum. It was pretty cool, well, for a 5 year old it was pretty cool! hahaha She invited her friend Violet and her Mommy to go with us and after wards we all came back to the house to open presents and have cake and ice cream. By that evening Hannah was exhausted. She crashed and so did we!
Here Hannah is playing in front of one of the funky mirrors. This was pretty funny! They played in front of this for a while.
Hannah got some new movies, a doll house, some new games and some other fun stuff.

She got the game Trouble and I also bought her Brain Quest. These flash cards are really neat! Hannah's pre-school teacher uses them and the kids just love them. You can get them online but I found them at Toys R Us.
But, the COOLEST thing she got what a BUBBLE MACHINE!!!! Michelle, a girl my mom works with, bought her this AWESOME bubble machine. Talk about WOW! This thing spits out tons and tons of bubbles! Hannah absolutely loves it! Thank you Michelle, you know the perfect things to get Hannah!
Well, I started my Vacation Album the week after we got back from Myrtle Beach and the cover is as far as I got! haha I want to work on it this week and hopefully get most of it done. I used a binder I bought at Target a while back. This will give me lots of room for pictures and stuff I picked up that week. Here's the cover: :)
Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! We had so much fun! I had to work but after we had a party at the house. We celebrated Hannah's birthday, Mother's Day and Brian's Graduation from JCC . Everyone came down and it was nice visiting with everyone. Here's some photos from last night :)

Well, the Furniture came today!! Yeah!!!!! I'm so glad her room is finally done. I still have to add a few decorations and stuff but I think it looks real pretty. The white walls really looks nice with the white furniture. I love the bedding I picked out too. I ended up going with this instead of the AmyButler quilt. This matched the carpet PERFECTLY. I got it at Linens and Things and for only $42! Can't beat that! Here's some photos, before and after. By the way, she won't let me get rid of the horse. I hate the horse.
Happy Tuesday Everyone! I love Tuesdays :) I only work till 9am and I have Wednesdays off so, I love Tuesdays!
Well, rooms ALL done :) Furniture is coming today and I'm excited! Hannah can finally go back to her room :) mind you , I love her being in my room but when EVERYTHING is in there, clothes, animals, bed...everything, it gets a little cramped. So...I am happy everything will be done by tonight!
I hope to get some scrapping done tomorrow. I have scrapped for me in a while and would like to get some of the Myrtle Beach pictures scrapped. I started on a mini-album a few weeks ago but, I only have the cover done! hahaha I'll post that later. So, in the mean time here are some Garden pages that went up on the first and one that went up on National Scrapbooking Day. Hope you all had a great time!! First...it's my momma's birthday!! Happy Birthday Mom! She was so excited that Hannah was the first one to wish her a happy birthday. Hannah remembered :) We are taking her out to eat tonight at Zeebro's.
Second...it's my day off of work. :) :) No need to explain that one! haha
Third...Hannah's furniture is in!! Gotta get the room finished. They are delivering Tuesday. We decided to go with white walls. Good classic clean color. The room is going to be bright, fun and happy!
Fourth...all my projects are done! YEAH!

Today will be fun! I'm the parent helper again this week at pre-school. I love hanging out with Hannah class. They are so funny! Some of the kids say the most hilarious things.
We had SO much fun on Thursday at the show. Jeff Dunham was HILARIOUS!!! I swear I laughed the whole time and tears were coming out of my eyes a few times. If you haven't seen him and he is coming to your area, GO! You won't regret it! Here's a clip of him and Peanut.
The guy that came out before him was really good too! His name is Brian Haner. Good Stuff!!!

Well, I'm about 90% sure I know what I want for Hannah's bedding. I originally was going to go with pink/white/dark chocolate combination. Plain sheets and a dark chocolate quilted throw comforter I found at Bed Bad and Beyond but now I think I'm gonna go with the Amy Butler fabrics. I ordered this today and I'm going to see if the colors will go with the wall paint I picked out. Hopefully it will match cause I really like these fabrics.
I'm excited! We can start painting on friday! We could start tomorrow night but we're going to see Jeff Dunham. Have any of you heard of him? He's hilarious! If you haven't, you totally need to check him out. You will fall out of your chair :)

I came home from work the other day and saw that Hannah was doing a little drawing. :) I love her imagination! The "eyebrows" are my favorite!!
Here is a picture of the furniture I picked out for Hannah's room. I will be getting it in white. It's the same brand as my furniture I got for my room and I was able to actually see it in person at our local furniture store.
I love the vanity. There is a place for her tv (and the doors can be shut) and drawers from more storage. I think it will look very pretty next to her wall. I'm still deciding on bedding for her. I'm going back and forth on either making a quilt with Amy Bulter's new fabric or just getting a comforter set. We'll see once the room in done.
Took a break today from Hannah's room. I scrapped! :) I might do a little sanding after supper though. What a job this is! Next time, I'm hiring someone.

So, I just finshing doing the walls in Hannah's room today. Everything's all ready to go to put the primer on then paint. Gosh...I've been waiting to do this for 3 years! I am so excited! My cousin Ryan even came down to help! Thanks Ryan :)
So anyways...it's about 3:00 p.m. and I'm exhausted. I want to take a power nap. Hannah was even willing to lay down and take a nap too! Gosh...this is PERFECT!
So I get in bed. All nice and comfortable. Hannah's laying down. Everythings quite. Very quite. And then....
I hear a freakin bird chirping. Then another. And another!
I swear there is a nest in my ceiling. Right up there a little to the left along the wall, in the attic.
23 minutes exactly goes by before them dang birds stopped chirping! I swear if I hear them tonight when I goto bed, I'm sleeping downstairs on the couch!
Mind you...I love spring and the sound of birds but let me tell you...those little things WILL NOT interupt me again when I need to take a nap!

I thought I would post a few of my first pages. Just to remind you...these are my FIRST pages ever! hehehe It has been almost 5 years since I started scrapping. It's amazing how styles and products change over the years. These pages are from Album 1. I'm on Album 14 now and there are approximatley 50 - 55 layouts in each album. That's a lot of pages. Wow, I need to slow down or I'll need a room just for her books. Well here they are, enjoy :)

Well, Hall Of Fame calls should be going out anytime now. I remember last year how exciting and nervous I was. I was at home all day, wondering whether or not my phone would ring. It was around 5:00 in the evening when my cell rang and it wasn't a number I recognized. I was flipping! I'll never forget that phone call from Lisa! Thank you Creating Keepsakes, it has been an AMAZING experience and thank you to all the girls I was able to share this past year with. I love all you guys :)

Here are a couple photos of my scrapbook albums. A few of you have asked what I use and this is it. I buy just regular white binders from walmart and make inserts for the spine. I use QuicKutz die set, "{" and different color cardstock for each album, I use American Craft page protectors and LOVE them! I'm on album 13 :)
Today was BEAUTIFUL! We got up early and went to a Golf Super Store. Dad was in heaven. It was pretty cool. After that we took Hannah to play golf again. She just loves that! This hole she got an hole in one! After we got back, we packed up and went to the beach for most of the afternoon. It was a little windy out but it was so nice. We spent the evening walking around Broadway on the Beach again and had dinner at Pizza Hut, Hannah's coice :) We don't want to go home :(
Today, Hannah, Mom and I took a drive down to Pawley's Island. We went to a Quilt Shop and then stopped at an AMAZING restaurant called Landolfi's. Oh my! I was so good!! Mom and I had panini's and Hannah had a wood-fire brick oven cheese Pizza. She LOVED it!!
Hannah fell asleep on the way back, so we hung out in the room until she woke up from her much needed nap. After that, Mom, Jamey, Hannah and I went to play Miniature Golf! I was so much fun! Hannah was a riot! She did pretty well. A couple holes she decided to lose the club and roll the ball down the hill. It was hilarious! She tried to ride the animals a few times. Jamey and I tied, mom came in third and Hannah...well we didn't keep her score! hahaha
After golfing, we came back to the hotel, dropped Daddy off, picked Papa up and we went to the Outback for dinner. I think there was something wrong with our waiter...for real. He came to table and took our order twice, brought my dad a RAW, and I mean RAW steak and forgot everything. Not sure what his problem was. Dinner was good though!!
We had a BUSY day yesterday. We woke up early and went next door for breakfast. After that, we decided to take Hannah to the Ripley's Aquarium, I thought she would love this. Seeing all the fish and sharks, I thought see would go nuts! Well, she was scared to death. I guess for a 4 year old it would be a little overwhelming. It was pretty cool though. She decided to hang out in the gift shop. For some reason she LOVES to shop! hahaha
After a much needed nap, we took Hannah down to the beach again. It still was a little cold but in the sun it was so nice! She had fun laying on the beach towel with Grandma's sunglasses on :)
That evening, Mom, Hannah and I went to Broadway on the Beach to walk around. Hannah loved the rides. She rode the Merry Go Round twice and the little boats once. She also liked looking at all the fish in the water. What a perfect day!
We arrived around 2 p.m. and Hannah was so excited! It was only 64 degrees but it was a beautiful sunny day. We apent about 2 hours down and the beach and she LOVED it! For dinner we ate at the Nascar Cafe and afterwards we went to pick up a few groceries. Right now, Hannah's watching a movie, eating pop corn, Mom's laying in bed, reading, Dad is loungin' in the chair watching tv and I'm downloading pics from today. Here's one of my favorites from this afternoon. I'll upload more tomorrow :) Happy Easter!

Ya see, this is my furniture. It's a real dark chocolate color. Much darker than the picture.

And my carpet is a light blue. So thes WATER collection would match REAL nice. But, I'm wondering though if I should go with Amy's new collection, OHIO SKY, to brighten things up a bit.

Last Tuesday I chaperoned Hannah's class to the Warner Theater for the production of Max and Ruby. Hanging out in the class room and the bus ride were about the highlights of the trip! hahaha Wasn't the greatest play. Hannah asked about 1/4 of the way into it, "Mommy, can we go for a walk?" and then I heard her friend say to his mom, Liz, "Mom, can we go home now?" Kinda sad. Towards the end, a HUGE, and I mean HUGE spider came and that ended it for Hannah. Not something a 4 1/2 year old little girl finds cute.
But anyways, we had a good time all around. Here is a photo of Hannah and her friend after we got back. I went to high school with his mom. We love that they live across the street from us. Unfortunately, the are moving to Florida in a few weeks. We will miss them!
Hannah hasn't realized yet why I have to goto work everyday. :( She says to me all the time, "Mama, please don't goto work. I want you to stay home with me." It makes me sad but everytime I tell her, "Hannah, I have to got work so we can have nice things and Mommy can pay her bills." Someday she will understand.
